IOR is committed to providing a workplace that is safe for both team members and customers. All team members at IOR are responsible for ensuring health and safety is managed throughout the company. Through a consultative approach, IOR continues to develop and improve safe operating procedures that are practical. Team members receive regular training to help them champion identifying and minimising risks in their day-to-day duties at IOR.
IOR has third party certification through independent registration body; QAS International, in the following standards:
- ISO 45001:2018 & AS/NZS 4801:2001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems; and
- PAS99:2012 – Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9007:2O15, ISO 14001:2O15, ISO 45001:2018 & AS/NZS 4801:2001).
IOR holds third party certification from QAS International for ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management.
Under this certification, IOR seeks to minimise the risk of adversely impacting the environment. This is achieved by consulting and working collaboratively with the communities in which the company operates. IOR team members seek to understand the environmental resources that these communities rely upon so that reasonable steps can be taken to provide high-quality products and services responsibly.
