With over 600 exhibitors and thousands of visitors taking over the Toowoomba showground for 2 days, the Surat Basin Energy and Mining Exhibition on the 18th and 19th of June is not an event to be missed .IOR is actively involved in the Surat Basin and has been attending the annual expo since it first launched in 2011. The company has a number of popular Diesel Stops across the region at Chinchilla, Roma, Wandoan and the recently upgraded site at Injune. IOR also commands large-scale fuel contracts in the Surat Basin with major companies across the oil and gas sector. To support projected growth in the region IOR has plans to open further Diesel Stops across the Surat Basin and South East QLD, including new sites at Miles, Goondiwindi, Charlton and Bundamba.
The free Expo has seen records crowds year after year, and IOR’s Sales and Marketing Manager Shane Baker is looking forward exhibiting at the event again this year.
“The Surat Basin Expo is the ideal event for our company. Our bulk fuel trailers, frac and Kliptanks are popular with the large mining, oil and gas and contracting companies across this region. We also have a number of 24/7 Diesel Stops throughout the Surat Basin servicing local businesses; so the Expo is perfect for capturing the local market as well. It’s also a good opportunity to catch up with our customers who like to stop by for a visit.”
IOR will once again have two exhibition spaces at the Expo; a large outdoor space to showcase their bulk fuel and liquid storage capabilities, and an indoor booth with an interactive display outlining the company’s extensive network of Diesel Stops.
This year IOR will also be showcasing their innovative HyDip® fuel and fluid level monitoring and reporting technology. The technology was developed by IOR for remotely monitoring their own tanks. However the versatility, accuracy and full internet compatibility of HyDip® has seen it take off as a commercial product available to other companies looking for a reliable fuel inventory remote monitoring service. The system ensures a consistent supply of fuel by notifying IOR when the fuel level is low and automatically dispatching the IOR fleet to refill the tank.
