IOR Petroleum is preparing to significantly increase its supply and delivery capabilities of fuel, fuel services, fuel tanks and frac tanks to the Cooper Basin. This will be achieved through the expansion of its transport fleet, additional on ground personnel and increased storage capacity of IOR facilities at Innamincka (South Australia) and Eromanga (Queensland).
In 2012, IOR established a permanent depot at Innamincka with the capacity to store 220,000 Litres of diesel, with a truck and trailer set based at the facility. IOR also supplies fuel for the Cooper Basin out of its Eromanga Refinery in south west Queensland. By late 2014 extra staff will be based in the Cooper Basin with a new transport depot opening in Eromanga housing a permanent transport fleet. This will increase IOR’s capacity to deliver fuel, fuel tanks and frac tanks into the Cooper Basin; and supply crude oil back to the refinery.
