AdBlue®, is a pure urea based solution which, when injected into exhaust system on SCR equipped diesel engines, significantly reduces the NOx emissions produced by the equipment.
The Australian Government has introduced strict guidelines to control emissions from diesel engines which you are required to meet. The use of AdBlue assists in this process.
AdBlue is required for the efficient operation of engines meeting Euro IV, Euro V, and the upcoming Euro V1 spec.
Do I need AdBlue?
If your vehicle requires AdBlue it will have its own tank and its own filling point in your vehicle. The Australian regulations on diesel emissions have become progressively stricter, and most new diesel vehicles are now required to be built with AdBlue tanks.
IOR and AdBlue
A number of IOR Diesel Stops also have AdBlue, so you can fill your diesel and AdBlue at the same time. Check our map to find an AdBlue location near you. .
Restrict AdBlue on your IOR TAG
To prevent users causing serious damage by accidentally filling AdBlue into your vehicle’s fuel tanks, IOR allows you to restrict your IOR Fuel TAGs so AdBlue can not be accidentally dispensed. If you don’t require AdBlue and/or would like to restrict specific TAGs for vehicles that don’t require AdBlue, please email your Name, Company, TAG Numbers and Vehicle Descriptions (if applicable) to firstname.lastname@example.org . Please allow 24-48 hours for the restriction to be applied to your account.
